Moldovan Shooters Win Medals at the 17th Edition of the International “April 6th” Tournament in Bosnia and Herzegovina
Athletes from the Republic of Moldova earned impressive results in the shooting discipline at the prestigious 17th International “April 6th” Tournament, held in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Anna Dulce claimed the gold medal in the general ranking final of the tournament.
A day earlier, she also secured a silver medal in the U21 category and a bronze medal in the senior category.
The women’s team from the National Training Center, composed of Anna Dulce, Alexandra Homutova, and Xenia Grosul, edged out the host team by just one point, earning the gold medal and winning the “April 6th” Cup in the air pistol event.
In the same event, junior male athlete Nichita Popușoi won the silver medal,
while Andrei Alferin took home the bronze medal in the general ranking final.
In the air rifle event, CSPLN athlete Antonina Molceanova achieved a score of 622.6 points, meeting the International Master of Sport of World Class (MSMK) standard and finishing 5th in the general final.
